We can shave your back for an additional $35, just let us know when booking. Avoid lotions, deodorants, makeup, or perfume on treatment day. We'll provide deodorant for you after the session if needed.
Mild redness may occur and usually fades quickly. Avoid heat, exercise and sun exposure for 24–48 hours. Exfoliate once redness fades. Hair growth will slow until the next treatment.

At Hello Laser we use the Gentle Max Pro laser, the most effective and most comfortable laser for hair removal. This laser is fast, safe and very effective. The laser has two different wavelengths, which allows us to treat all skin types from very light to very dark skin. It is also the least painful laser for hair removal. The Gentle Max Pro uses a built in Dynamic Cooling Device (DCD) to help make treatment comfortable as has various spot sizes for treating small areas up to very large areas in a rather quick timeframe. We have been told by many patients over the years that our laser is by far the least painful laser out there!
How many laser treatments will I need?
Depending on age, hormones, genetics, medications and other factors, we suggest setting your expectations at needing 8-12 sessions for complete removal, with 1-3 sessions a year to maintain results, depending on the body area. Treatments are spaced out every 4-8 weeks, and you should notice results every time, we have seen great results in as little as 6 sessions! Please plan to avoid waxing and sun exposure for two weeks leading up to your treatment and don’t forget to shave the area right before treatment for the best and most comfortable experience.

Is laser hair removal damaging to the skin like the sun?
No, it is much different than the sun's UV rays. Laser hair removal is emitting a light similar to a heat lamp and less like a tanning lamp meaning it is thermal heat and therefore not UV light. Laser hair removal will not tan you, cause sun damage or skin cancer. It is simply sending heat into the skin and the dark roots of active growing hair absorb most of the heat and become damaged to the point where a terminal hair cannot grow again. The skin may be red or slightly swollen depending on how thick the hair is but other than that it is unaffected.
Why do I need to shave before my treatment?
Laser hair removal works best when all the laser’s heat is absorbed by the root of the hair. If the surface is shaved clean, you have created a clean path straight to the root without any “distractions” for the laser beam. This makes treatment more effective and less painful. Having stubble or longer hair at the surface will cause more heat to be stopped at the surface to burn up the surface hair and less heat will reach the root. This will be a less effective treatment and more painful as the nerve endings will feel that surface hair burning up. Just shave or closely clipper the hair the night before or day of treatment to avoid these issues.
